• Clarification Questions: The ability to ask follow-up questions about generated summaries.

The Service relies on third-party data sources, including YouTube video transcripts and subtitles. We do not control the availability or accuracy of this third-party content, and the Service may not function properly if such data is unavailable.

3. Fair Use Policy & Usage Limits

All subscription plans, including those marketed as "Unlimited," are subject to our Fair Use Policy. This policy is designed to ensure service stability and fair access for all users.

Fair use means using the Service as an individual for personal productivity purposes. The following are considered violations of our Fair Use Policy:

• Generating summaries at a rate that significantly exceeds normal human usage patterns
• Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to generate summaries
• Sharing account credentials to circumvent individual usage limits
• Any attempt to bypass, manipulate, or circumvent usage tracking systems

We reserve the right to enforce these limits and take action against accounts that violate this policy.

4. Prohibited Uses & Abuse Prevention

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following prohibited purposes:

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YTB Summary and its operators, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Decisions made or actions taken based on summaries generated by the Service
• Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss
• Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in generated content
• Third-party actions or content, including YouTube data availability

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by YTB Summary and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use summaries generated for personal purposes, but you may not claim ownership of the underlying technology or redistribute the Service itself. YouTube content remains the property of its respective owners.

9. Changes to Terms

YTB Summary is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with YouTube, Google LLC, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. The name "YouTube" and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. We access publicly available video data solely to provide our summarization service to users.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
